DO MEMBERS PAY DUES TO CAROLINA BARBELL?
Members pay $5 per semester to be a part of Carolina Barbell. As a member, you can attend nutrition seminars, Q&A sessions with prominent people in the strength community, and participate in other Barbell events. The dues we collect allow us to continue hosting events and grow as a club.
CAN BEGINNERS TO THE GYM JOIN BARBELL?
Absolutely. There is no minimum strength or experience requirement necessary to be a part of Barbell. One of our main goals is to get more people interested in lifting, and connecting them to a community of like-minded individuals. We host several events geared towards beginners, such as form checks and seminars, throughout the year.
DO I HAVE TO PAY TO USE THE THTC?
Yes. Members of Barbell who would like to get access to the Tar Heel Training Center during designated times on Saturday pay $10 per semester to the club. So, members who pay dues and use the THTC would pay $15 per semester.
HOW CAN I JOIN BARBELL?
Just shoot us a message on the contact page, or get in touch with anybody from the executive board. In the fall, you can find Barbell at FallFest!
